Follow Jesus’ Example!

In Matthew chapter 4, the devil tempted Jesus when Jesus was physically weak and hungry.  Jesus was not spiritually weak and hungry, however.  Jesus quoted scripture and the first scripture He quoted was Man cannot live by bread alone.  Jesus won with each temptation presented by the devil because he relied on the Word of God. 

 I say Jesus walked around with the mind of God. (because He is God) Imagine walking around with the mind of God as Jesus did.  The only way to come close to walking around with the mind of God is by memorizing scripture.  Then, just like Jesus you can also win each temptation presented by the devil.  With the word of God as your weapon, it’s a fixed fight! The devil will lose every time.  The devil can’t fight the word.  

 Memorizing and meditating on the word of God improves your belief in and obedience to the word.  It “levels up” your faith.  Faith conquers fear and doubt!  Faith conquers the devil!
